The Singelsolution.com site combines online dating with social events for singles. The website homepage automatically updates itself every few seconds with a random selection of profiles of three men and three women, and you can view the full profile of each without registering yourself. Their speed dating events take place in most of the larger UK towns and cities and when we checked there were plenty of events arranged for the next few months. They started their first events in 2002 so they have plenty of experience to draw upon. The online dating website Premium Plus membership allows members to send ‘reply paid’ messages to members who are not subscribers, so even non-paying members can reply to messages of this type. As well as speed dating parties open to anyone they also arrange Asian Hindu and Sikh dating events and claim to have one of the largest databases of single Asian professionals in the UK.

However, the growing number of fake or dubious profiles meant that eventually the decided to introduce subscriptions in order to cover the increasing cost of checking profiles and maintaining the site’s integrity. Far from losing them business this decision has increased their fan base and they have gone from strength to strength. Plentymorefish.com (not be confused with Plentyoffish.com) have combined their energies with World Dating Partners and White Label Dating to create and network of online dating websites that cater for all ages, genders, and sexual orientation in the six most populated countries in the English speaking world.

Planet Personals has a refreshingly clean and simple design with the emphasis on finding love, romance, and friendship. The homepage allows the website visitor to carry out searches by age range and location and the results produced can then be clicked to view the full profile of that member. Searching and browsing reveals testimonials and other feedback from satisfied past and current members. The profiles are very detailed so as long as a member has completed all the optional sections then it’s possible to build up quite an accurate picture about that person just by examing his or her profile. If you want to make contact there are the usual options of doing so. PlanetPersonals.com appears to be UKdating.com in another format and most regions of the UK are represented. There’s even a dating and relationship advice section called “Dear Lynn” in which heartache and dating dilemmas can be discussed.
