Pear Match
Jan 14th
Pearmatch.co.uk has been online since the year 2000. The site owners set out to create a simple but accurate site that matched photo personal ads with each other based on compatibility and location. The end result is a clean and simple site that is easy to use. It doesn’t have the long list of functions and features of other sites but for some online dating website users less is more. Sometimes it’s easier to just browse profiles and send messages without feeling compelled to engage in mutli user chat rooms or webcam flirting. The site also contains plenty of relationship advice and dating tips for both those communication online and for when couples meet up for the first few times. There’s little to see as a guest to the site apart from several chapters of dating advice so you will have to register to see more, but as usual registration is free. Full membership starts at £14.99 for two weeks or £19.99 for a month.
Parship
Jan 14th
Parship.com is a German owned company with a string of international sites. The site’s compatibility testing and matching has been developed by Professor of Psychology Hugo Schmale who has taken a scientific approach to finding the ideal match for couples. The site uses thirty essential characteristics on each profile to find suitable matches. The site has a very slick and modern design and gives the impression of a very professionally run outfit. In addition to the carefully produced profile matching technique there is also a singles’ coach, Dr Nafsika Thalassis, who is on hand to answer questions about your compatibility, your profile photos, your ‘about me’ page and more besides. There doesn’t appear to be any way of previewing the profiles of a few members without registering, but the process of registration includes a free compatibility test so it’s an innovative way of starting the proceedings.
