1st September 2011 saw the launch of a new online dating site for people who put green issues high on their list of preferences and interests.
Eco Friendly Dating caters for people whose search for a partner involves using a check-list on which there’s one tick box that is a mandatory requirement. Each member is looking for someone who shares their concern for the effect we have both collectively and as individuals on the planet and within the local environment. If the prospective partner doesn’t hold green issues close to their heart and if they don’t put environmentally friendly living high on their agenda then they be passed by in favour of someone who does meet the required standard.

For example, you might be a solar panel installer who loves harnessing the energy of the sun and generating power from it, but then on this dating site you might meet someone whose passion is running an online cosmetics company that only uses organic and ethically produced products.
The range of subjects that green issues covers is large and the interest in these various aspects is growing all the time. Eco Friendly Dating is there to put like minded souls in touch with each other and then let nature do the rest.
