Lovestruck.com is an international dating site that has branches in twelve cities in the UK and Ireland (although the Cork version wasn’t active when we checked). It is designed to appeal to busy professionals who in the course of their daily commute or when making their way through the working day might see the same attractive face on a number of occasions and who would like to get to know that person. For example, the London section of the website has a search function based upon age and gender (as usual) but gives the additional options of Zones (as in London Underground) and Tube Stations. So in theory, if you do often see the same gorgeous face on the Tube then it may just be possible that he or she is a member of this site. Other cities have a similar search facitilies but they use city centre or elsewhere instead of the Tube areas. This dating website has been well received and generated some very positive reviews in the national press.
