It was the third activity dating site to be launched by Love Services (after Love Air and Love Sail), and it quickly became a favourite with equestrian singles up and down the UK. The site generated plenty of success stories including bringing together two members who lived hundreds of miles apart but who began their courtship on the site and eventually married. Their story was featured in an article in The Sunday Times in 2005. Since then Love Horse has had several design changes in an effort to meet the demands of an ever increasingly internet savy audience. It has now joined forces with White Label Dating to create a site with a much larger reach and is now enjoying increased success as a more general dating website that includes within its membership not only horse riders and countryside lovers, but also people who just enjoy the outdoors and who attracted to horse riders.

It quickly found a following among cabin crew, aircrew and other airline staff and continues to offer dating site services to this particular niche.
